Edits made which remove or otherwise change any material placed by clearly established consensus, without first obtaining consensus to do so, may be treated in the same manner as clear vandalism.
Clear vandalism of any origin may be reverted without restriction.
Reverts of edits made by anonymous (IP) editors that are not vandalism are exempt from the 1RR but are subject to the usual rules on edit warring. If you are in doubt, contact an administrator for assistance.

Misspelling in article - wrong language

Can someone on the english wiki look at this article, under the portion where Elon Musk is mentioned and fix the spelling in the final paragraph of the article fix the spelling from Noviembre to November. Adding Bellscoin

I would highly suggest adding Bellscoin (see: https://bellscoin.com/) along with Litecoin and Luckycoin in the history section, it is clear, given by this article https://www.vice.com/en/article/dogecoins-founders-believe-in-the-power-of-meme-currencies/ that it was used for the creation of Dogecoin. This wiki is mentioning that Dogecoin takes its origin from Luckycoin. However, based on multiple source, it appears that it takes origin from Bellscoin. From an interview, Billy Markus, Dogecoin lead developer, said: https://www.vice.com/en/article/dogecoins-founders-believe-in-the-power-of-meme-currencies/

“I was tinkering with a coin that I had already made called ‘Bells,’ based off of Nintendo’s Animal Crossing, that wasn’t particularly successful,” Markus said. “I was mucking with it and I figured out how to change all the fonts to Comic Sans MS, then thought, ‘oh ok, this could be funny.’ So I had a mockup of the client with the Dogecoin picture Palmer made, and I just wanted to show that I wasn’t a n00b and I could actually make coins… This wasn’t some weird master plan that we had.”

Hi, the owner of Doge just got a new dog named Cocoro and even launched a token for it! ! I tried making a page about it Draft:Cocoro, but it got rejected due to lack of coverage. I did not miss that. It's not a reliable source. As I said, crypto outlets do not generally have a positive reputation for accuracy and fact checking. Decrypt is arguably better than the average, but this isn't saying very much. Decrypt is often linked on talk pages and draft articles, but at a glance it appears it is only being cited on three mainspace Wikipedia articles, one of which was created two days ago and has multiple other spam issues, and the other two are as WP:PRIMARY sources. Decrypt is both poor for general reliability, and also very poor at demonstrating lasting encyclopedic significance. Grayfell (talk) 01:27, 14 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
