Upon analysing this page in conjunction with the Doctor Who Confidential page, a formatting consideration of the table listing all the episodes just struck me. Doctor Who Confidential (generally) had a unique episode title for each episode, distinct from the episode it was about - e.g. for Rose, it was "A New Dimension". Comparatively, based on this table, Doctor Who: Unleashed tends to use the same titles as the episode they're about - Rogue's is "Rogue". The table instead lists the people being interviewed, as if this is interesting. Only the first and last episodes have titles different from the actual episodes: the last is "Unseen", about Series 14 in summation. Right now, footnotes are being used for the two episodes with different titles.
But if more and more episodes are made for years, and only a few have unique titles, then that may result in a great many footnotes, in place of simply putting the title in. I favour putting the title in the table directly in this instance, but since it hasn't happened yet, it seems adequate for now. My thought is simply that in the (perhaps unlikely) event that, like Doctor Who Confidential, this programme carries on for six plus series, and continues this practice of having one or two episodes a series with distinct names, that's twelve footnotes where the title should be instead, which may become more cumbersome to read than simply putting the actual title in. That seems more relevant than the list of interviewees. Maybe it's not that bad; many pages have many more footnotes. Anyway, an idea. ButterCashier (talk) 10:30, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
