[edit]Hi all, I have just created my first article about the Docklands Sinfonia. But i'm not sure if it is 'live' or not. I'm not very technical and I'd be very grateful for any advice from any experienced wikipedia users. I have a few questions: 1. On the external links, I can't work out how to make it link to the page. I've managed to do it with the references, but it is not working with external links. 2. Is this article 'live'? Or do I have to submit it somewhere? 3. How do I get it picked up by google etc? Many thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Woobles (talk • contribs)
- I think all your questions except no 3 have been answered. It can take some time, sometimes days, for Google's webcrawlers to index new pages on Wikipedia - that is completely beyond our control. But, and this is my standard reply when asked about Google indexing, we are here to build an encyclopedia, not engage in a Google rankings popularity contest! – ukexpat (talk) 15:28, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
