Summer kitchen
[edit]Would this article be a good place to add the concept of a "summer kitchen"? A summer kitchen is an outdoor kitchen, particularly used historically[1] when stoves burned wood or coal and put out a lot of waste heat. To prevent the kitchen from overheating the house, cooking would be done in an outbuilding in the summer.
The article title would have to change to "outdoor kitchen" if that section were added.
