Characters section (Completed)

[edit]

I added the entire Characters section and created this discussion page. However, several minor characters need to be added, as well as individual pictures for the main characters. A Plot section should also be added soon. --Andrex 02:44, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I added pictures for all the main characters, (but Julia Mallory's could be better). I'm going to replace the Cast section with a Plot section soon, and I'll clean up the intro afterwards. Soon after that, I'll expand the Secondary characters section with pictures I already have but haven't uploaded yet. If anyone can start writing up articles for individual episodes, as well as add the names of the next few episodes to the Episodes and ratings section, that'd be great! --Andrex 21:18, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
All finished. --Andrex

Unsourced ratings

[edit]

The ratings for episode three have been added by "62.210.176.44". Does anyone have a source for this? --Andrex 16:57, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Again, I'm going to have to ask for sources for episodes two and three. If they can't be produced soon, the ratings for each will be reverted back to "TBD". --Andrex 23:52, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup (Completed)

[edit]

The main article (before the table of contents) is very choppy and restates a lot of the information in the rest of the article, so I added a cleanup tag to it. Also, listing the Cast and Characters as two different sections is repetitive, I'll try and clean that up. --Andrex 17:03, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, that's done. --Andrex 05:29, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seprate Charater Pages

[edit]

Should we create seprate charater pages instead of having the bios on the main page? --ShadowWriter 04:30, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly, but right now there isn't enough information on them. Maybe for Lucy and Don, but we'll wait on the rest until episode five. --Andrex 05:29, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Main characters edit

[edit]

If Kira Klay isn't in episode five I'm going to bump her down to Secondary characters, because she wasn't really a big part of the show to begin with. It's the reverse for Prince Tyreese. If he's in episode five, I'll add him to Main characters, because he has been a big part of the show's plots so far. Also, Brent Barrow might also be added to Main characters because his role and appearances have started to increase. Any objections? --Andrex 19:54, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To-do box

[edit]

I added the to-do box with some things I won't be able to do by myself. Please contribute if you watch the show. --Andrex 15:36, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'll try and start working on the Don and Lucy articles. ShadowWriter 18:02, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent, thanks so much. I'll try my hand at the Holt and Julia articles, they're my third favorite characters. --Andrex 03:17, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Templates for episodes, the Dirt universe, and characters

[edit]

Here is the template infobox for Dirt episodes, and here is the template for the Dirt universe. Before we seriously start the individual Main character pages, I think we should finalize a template for Dirt characters. I'll work on it, but feel free to post what you make here, and discuss changes to the templates above on their individual Discussion pages. --Andrex 03:46, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

not a "replacement series"

[edit]

I removed the description of Dirt as a "replacement series." This description is usually applied to network shows added in the winter-spring window to take the place of shows that have been cancelled or otherwise removed from the schedule, though the "replacement show" may have always been intended for a winter debut. Dirt was not one of these but simply the latest drama to fill FX's Tuesday 10pm slot. Series have been rotated since the success of The Shield led FX to expand into new dramas. 72.231.29.22 18:30, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jennifer Aniston

[edit]

No mention of Jennifer Aniston's guest starring part? -- Annie D 10:34, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Another season

[edit]

Anyone know if there is going to be another season.ShadowWriter 18:23, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Willa Under Main Characters

[edit]

I noticed that Willa is not listed as a Main Character, but she was definitely more prominent in season one than Leo was. I'd say she was even more prominent than Brent. Should someone add her to that section? -- StarIV (talk)

Critical Reception

[edit]

Should the entry not include a bit on critical reception in the US and possibly elsewhere? 217.54.217.91 (talk) 13:48, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Shows Location

[edit]

Where did the show take place, and where was it actually filmed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chriska416 (talkcontribs) 14:04, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
