For information purposes only. Your article stated that the Diosa Del Mar's keel was made of lead. I was on board the Diosa Del Mar twice in 1974 and 1975 on the ski club's charters from San Pedro to Catalina. A question to the then skipper concerning the keel was answered to the effect that the keel was unique in that it was made of solid copper. This might be a point worth verifying.
