Orphaned references in Dinosaur Park Formation

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Dinosaur Park Formation's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "longrich2008":

  • From Ornithomimus: Longrich, N. (2008). "A new, large ornithomimid from the Cretaceous Dinosaur Park Formation of Alberta, Canada: Implications for the study of dissociated dinosaur remains." Palaeontology, 51(4): 983-997.
  • From Hell Creek Formation: Longrich (2008), pages 983-996.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 23:22, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Taxon falsely reported as present

[edit]

That seems a bit misleading, it is not that someone is trying to deceive, just differences/updates in taxonomy. There's also a bit of inconsistency. One single taxon (Leptoceratops) is striked out because it has been reclassified, but none others are. This could be done better. And under ceratopsian, one undescribed taxon is listed outside the column, and another inside. Any reason for this? FunkMonk (talk) 18:33, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
