Merge to Public art

[edit]

There is no indication that digital public art is anything other than a medium used in public art in general. Even the definition used to describe "digital" public art is taken from a book on public art. Any artist using digital media in a public setting outside the museum is by definition a public artist. The only distinction being made here is between digital art and digital art in the public realm. This can be merged into the main article. freshacconci talktalk 14:07, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is fine for now but I think that I need to do some more work, the point about Digital Public Art is that technology allows different forms of interaction to take place, not possible with traditional public art. Let me edit the page and see what you think, I am happy if it is a separate page of merged into the public art page.Kevinpcarter (talk) 14:41, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
