Adding a controversies section

[edit]

I was tempted to add a section called "controversies" which seems very pretentious but would be intended to mention things like the constant struggle with multilinguilism and the recent ever-lowering acceptance rate. Thoughts?

If you can do it without running foul of Wikipedia's stipulation against original research, by all means go ahead. Otherwise you'd better write an article on the subject and publish it elsewhere, preferably in a publication that has a fact checking process in place, so your piece can be cited in Wikipedia as a reliable source. Made some minor changes to the conference list section, adding country names (usually USA) when they weren't present, for consistency. Also, I changed the name of the "past conferences" section to "conferences," since the table includes the 2012 conference which, as of this writing, has not happened yet.
