Soap Central
[edit]I was just wondering why this fansite has come into usage in the article. Would it be possible to find some alternatives?Rain the 1 20:32, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
- According to WP:SOAPS, Soapcentral.com can be used for news purposes. Plus, Dan gets his news stories from the same sources as everyone else, his news postings are creditable. MusicFreak7676 TALK! 20:47, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
- Where does it say that at WP:SOAPS? I know there was once a conversation about which soapy sites were suitable, but I wasn't aware news stories were approved.Rain the 1 20:51, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
- According to what I've been told, WP:RSN have deemed it acceptable for news resources, just not plot purposes. It may also be used for interview purposes, etc. It may not be used for plot purposes since fans are generally the ones to upgrade those. But anything posted by Dan himself, or one of his colleagues are deemed acceptable for new-postings. MusicFreak7676 TALK! 21:09, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
- What is so special about Dan? If you come across any better sources, like newspapers etc - You'll replace them?Rain the 1 22:33, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
- I just hate how people assume the whole site is a sham and unreliable when it isn't. If I do come across anything else, I'll go in and replace it, etc. MusicFreak7676 TALK! 23:46, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

Would pay money if plot updates were consistent; that is not part of the model, but makes it less useful. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:645:C601:6010:7186:2B2C:2F98:8F6A (talk) 19:07, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
