why is Doris F. Fisher listed here? i read thru the (very brief) article on her and can see no reason why she should be referenced on Hendricks's page. other than they are both American business women. but if that were a criteria for inclusion in a "See Also" section, those sections would be so long on...well, ANY article, that the articles (and WP itself) would be unmanageable.
i ended up spending more time here than i meant to (checking sources and re-sourcing for dead links, mostly), so i ended up just removing/hiding Doris's name. i did put Ken there, because...it made a lot more sense than Doris, for one thing. Colbey84 (talk) 05:09, 1 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
We report (and it's well-sourced) that Hendricks "worked as a Playboy Bunny to pay her bills". I question whether this is a notable fact about her. As far as I am aware, this fact about her was reported in one profile. It's an interesting fact, I agree. For many people, reading this relatively short bio of this significant businessperson, they would leave it remembering that she once worked as a Playboy Bunny, because that's a rather colorful and memorable bit of trivia. If she had worked as a counter person at Arby's for three years, would that show up in this article? If she had worked as a waitress at Hooter's for three years, would it show up? (I think there would be a temptation by some editors to reference a history of Hooter's employment, but not a history of Arby's employment.) There's a sexualized element to this that I'm worried about. Novellasyes (talk) 14:00, 22 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
