[edit]I had used the first external site (The Hindu) as a source of information for the article, and was nearly finished when my computer died :(

New York International Film Festival vs New York Festivals
[edit]Looking at several of the sources from India, they mention the film Manpasand winning a medal at the New York International Film Festival in 2008. However, the official website of the NYIFF has no mention of Dhvani Desai (see this Google search of filmlinc.com for "desai").
However, the New York Festivals website does! (see New York Festivals 2008 Winners Booklet, page 5) - it's a common mistake that I've seen before!
