This article is important because it provides at least some information on the New Bulgarian Literature, created after 1989, which is a topic that does not seem to exist in Wikipedia. At the same time Deyan Enev is one of the most well-known writers of his generation in Bulgaria (the authors working during the Bulgarian Transition). Another reason for the importance of this page is the fact that there is increasing interest on East European literature in the past several years. It may be interesting for the critics, for people dealing with Russian, Balkan, Eastern literature (professors, students), and for regular readers, who are looking for more information on the topic.

[edit]i believe these reasons are enough for leaving the article here, and probably even adding a category on New Bulgarian Literature (1998-Present), featuring some more writers of the period. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Enchev (talk • contribs)
I think the awards make this author arguably significant, so I am removing the tags. Please however had some external references, such as to book reviews, so other people will do it--otherwise the page is very likely to be deleted. I very strongly advise against creating the cateogory you suggest--it is out of line with usual WP categories--just use Bulgarian authors. If you want to write an article about 1998+ Bulgarian literature, this would be possible, provided that you have conventionally published or on line references--not blogs-- that talk about it.
