Comment

[edit]

Is this really the best photo available? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.50.207.31 (talk) 16:53, 5 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It was really poor. Thankfully we've been given a new one. Surtsicna (talk) 13:29, 28 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to know more about Dexter Scott King. I had no idea that he was an actor, a college drop out or a vegan. Why did he drop out of school? How does he make a living for himself? --Because surely he can't be living off of his mother and father's notoriety. They're both dead now. Is he gay or straight? Is he a member of Alpha Phi Alpha like his father?

Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: page moved by consensus. Andrewa (talk) 14:31, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Dexter Scott KingDexter King – There is no need for a middle name in the title of the article. The references cited in the article call him simply Dexter King. Surtsicna (talk) 13:32, 28 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Previous move

[edit]
01:34, 21 December 2012‎ MZMcBride (talk | contribs | block)‎ m . . (31 bytes) 0‎ . . (bugzilla:42616)(rollback: 1 edit | undo | thank)
05:27, 19 March 2005‎ Mr Tan (talk | contribs | block)‎ . . (31 bytes) +31‎ . . (Dexter King moved to Dexter Scott King) (thank)

I often relist and ping the previous mover in such cases to give them a chance to reply, but the policy and consensus is sufficiently clear here that I think we can just revert the undiscussed move, which doesn't even have a move rationale in the edit summary (that's one reason I preserve it above), as proposed and move on. Andrewa (talk) 14:31, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

Work

[edit]

This sentence"Dexter Scott King served as president of the King Center for Nonviolent Social Change, but resigned only four months after taking the office after a dispute with her"-i believe "after a dispute with his mother." seems more appropriate. It seems like we could add more in this section too. Mkomboti (talk) 17:37, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
