Earlier versions of this wiki made multiple suggestions that this medication should be taken 1 half hour to 1 hour before meals (to increase absorption). This is contrary to the standard clinical practice of advising patients to take NSAIDs with food to reduce the risk of serious GI side effects (including gastric ulcers). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.118.94.92 (talk) 21:23, 19 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Revamp and references necessary

[edit]

As of 23th May 2014 link to the one and only source, that the whole article seems to be based on is broken (besides the reference Estonian State Agency of Medicines's database that I added later).

Dexketoprofen is OTC in Estonia (since 2014)

[edit]

On April 19, 2014‎ 90.191.114.218 (talk) (incorrectly) modified article to show Dexketoprofen as prescription drug in Estonia. Beside that I bought it a few days ago without prescription, it's noted as being OTC in State Agency of Medicines's database. 'Legal supply status' is for all formations but injection both 'K,R' (both OTC and prescription). In closer examination it's apparent that package insert sheet was updated to include note about OTC versions on 1 January 2014. Which probably means it was re-classified as OTC already several months before the article was changed. In Package column it has been clarified that larger packages require prescription - those are probably cheaper per tablet. However, as you can buy as many packages containing 10 x 25 mg as you like without prescription, it should still obviously be considered over-the-counter medicine in Estonia.

I remind that if writing information about drugs in Estonia the State Agency of Medicines's database is freely accessible to everyone and should be used to confirm before making modifications.

"…made by Menarini in Luxembourg"

[edit]

Menarini doesn't have any factory in Luxembourg, as they claim on their pages in Italian as well; that's why I allowed myself to cancel this statement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GianMarco Tavazzani (talkcontribs) 09:54, 14 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
