Date of birth
[edit]Hi all. Is anyone able to access the New York Times article cited as giving his date of birth as 19 September 1881? The register of his Oxford College (Lincoln) gives his date of birth as 1 September 1881 (see here on page 142). It's possible there's a clerical error at Lincoln but this is almost certainly the information given by Devereux when he entered the College, and therefore a more accurate source. I don't want to edit the page here without being able to access the source, i.e. the NYT article. Thanks. AliceTheArchivist (talk) 14:19, 24 July 2023 (UTC)
