Two of the towers are already being named for well known Americans who donated the principle amount of the financing for the tower that is being named after them. The new campud will open in late 2013. After the opening, the State of Michigan complex downtown will be closed. The Eastside Center will remain open as a continuing education cneter and all the amenaties there will remain in operation and possibly be expanded. The detroitInstitute of Technology can be reached at 313-823-5000. Dennis Archer, former Detroit Mayor, is a D I T alumni and is working hand in hand to get the new D I T up and running."
