Does this warrant a page?

[edit]

Yes, this was built up as a PPV, but when you get down to it, it was just a special episode of Impact. There's not a page for their "Whole F'n Show" episode, or a page for WWE's "Raw Is Owen", the 1000th episode, etc., etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.203.189.238 (talk) 19:03, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Check your sources again; Raw 1000. Its a continuation of the PPV and has coverage. BlackDragon 22:44, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It's encyclopedic, well sourced, and all that good stuff, so it may very well be worth its own article. However, as IP mentions it was just a special episode, and most special episodes don't get their own pages. Personally I think this should be merged with the main Destination X article. There are two other Destination X shows, actual PPVs, that don't have their own articles, so it's not like it would stand out as a sore thumb. This is also how they incorporated the Smackdown WWE Great American Bash episode into the encyclopedia.LM2000 (talk) 22:53, 7 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I brought this discussion to WP:PW where a redirect was suggested. This same information can currently be found at the main Destination X article.LM2000 (talk) 08:07, 10 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Still doesn't warrant a page

[edit]

If even you admit it doesn't need a page, after a discussion on WP:PW and all those reverts, including those made when you edited without logging in, why do you insist on this after all this time?LM2000 (talk) 21:47, 11 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I never admitted that his doesnt need a page. When the page was created it was a huge event and even the second. What I was saying is that since they are doing monthly PPV Specials, those dont "need" a page, however if someone created one and it was well sourced and lengthy, then it could have one. There was never full consensus to delete the page, and there were people in favor of it. The page is sourced and lengthy, and far beyond just what is on the main page of Destination X. It was a big event and just like RAW 1000, it can have its own page. It doesnt have to be a PPV to have one, and it was the Destination X of 2013. If Destination X 2013 was a PPV would the page be any different? BlackDragon 22:02, 11 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Just for a reference, here was that discussion. Three people were opposed to the article, two were on the fence, nobody every said they were explicitly in favor of it. In the five months since everyone accepted that the consensus was against these articles, nobody has tried to recreate this article and nobody has created individual articles for television specials like this. Four users redirected this page to the main Destination X article, you were the only one who fought it. This is the continuation of an edit war and you should probably move on to something else as James suggested to you on your talk page.LM2000 (talk) 22:26, 11 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
