The speedy of course has been declined. Asserting that someone is the author of a Times book of the week is an assertion of importance , even without the rest of the article. As the reviewing administrator, I really wonder at this tagging. Did the tagger read the article?
Even more than just passing speedy, I haven't the least doubt that this fully meets the WP:N notability standards and will easily pass AfD if anyone insists upon taking it there.
I would however be a very good idea to WP:Wikify it to adjust the style to a WP article--and to double-check that none of the material is copied from an outside source. DGG (talk) 22:18, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
