SORAS

[edit]

I don't know if you can really call it SORAS. Gabi was born in 1989 and graduated in 2007. The actor is older than the role but that is hardly uncommon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.77.196.32 (talk) 23:13, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Latino characters

[edit]

The article says "Casado's character of Gabriela is one of only a handful of Latino characters who have appeared on Sesame Street." The wording implies that the Latino population is underrepresented on Sesame Street, when in fact the number of core cast members was very small and very diverse. Gabi's parents Luis and Maria were on the series for several decades between 1971 to 2015-16. I think it's a pity the wording is skewed so negatively when Sesame Street was ahead of its time in casting Latino actors. Sadiemonster (talk) 10:09, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
