Someone, anyone?

[edit]

Hey folks, the absence of substance in this article is proper embarrassing - a major government department with surely a storied history. Anyone care to take it up? - Onanoff (talk) 18:21, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A lot of HK government department articles are pretty light. I've tried to beef up a few recently (e.g. Transport Department, Information Services Department, Centre for Health Protection). I'll try to help with this one. Best, Citobun (talk) 02:15, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Revert of Edit in "History" Section

[edit]

User:Citobun: Noted that you reverted my edit to the captioned section. Given that your edit summary "Whitewashing" is quite vague, I invite you to clarify this so we may have a discussion on how we can refine the edit.

Thank you Carter00000 (talk) 13:29, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

User:Carter00000 your edit summaries of "Improved wording of the article." are more vague. You proclaim that you are a new user to Wikipedia, yet you delete and edit content that are properly referenced. Given that many of your edits have been reverted by different users, I believe your edits are not constructive at all. MowerBreeze (talk) 16:12, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@MowerBreeze I think "Improved wording of the article" is a very straightforward summary, since its for a technical issue. "Whitewashing" would indicate a content issue, so would require some clarification. Carter00000 (talk) 16:24, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Cut this nonsense out. The issues with your conduct has been explained to you already. Stop whitewashing content on Hong Kong government-related pages. And stop plastering everyone's talk pages with warning messages. Citobun (talk) 03:03, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Citobun: Noted on your previous concern with my edits, which you have characterized as "white washing". With respect, I do not agree with you, as I believe my edits are both compliant with WP policy and have their own merits.

Hence, in the interest of opening a conversation, I would like to again invite you to explain your recent edits on the relevant talk pages, given that your comment for each edit is vague, and does not indicate the specific issue for each edit. Carter00000 (talk) 06:01, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The specific issue is that you are whitewashing content on Hong Kong government articles. That's it. I am not going to respond to you on every single talk page when it's all about one issue. Citobun (talk) 13:17, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
