From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"42.5% of the population of the Bronx was African-American. However this figure was misleading on two counts. On one side most Dominicans have African ancestry but will not so identify for census purposes. On the other hand many Puerto Ricans don't identify their African ancestry, which means that the percentage of non-Hispanic African-Americans would be smaller than this number suggests. The African-American population is also much more internally diverse in origins in Bronx than in much of the United States. There are three generalized sub-groups, which in turn often obscure more than they reveal."

Worst. Paragraph. Ever. Can someone write it coherently? I dont understand whats it trying to say. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.80.232.111 (talk) 17:05, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced ACS

[edit]

Just as in the main the Bronx article (soon to become The Bronx, User:The Universe Is Cool has added a lot of American Community Survey material (GOOD) without providing a reference to verify the stats. Rather than reverting here and now, I am asking Universe here and on his/her own page, to provide the reference.Bellagio99 (talk) 13:01, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
