Dispute tag

[edit]

Hi, I am not involved with editing this topic, but am just stopping in as a wandering admin. I see that a section of this article has been tagged as disputed for over a year. Has this been resolved yet? If not, I recommend either moving forward on resolving the dispute, deleting the disputed information, or else just removing the tag. --Elonka 23:23, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Brooklyn and race

[edit]

This sentence is literally false: "The borough of Brooklyn is one of the country's 20 counties where every racial group is one-fifth of the city population." It's not true, for instance, that 1/5 of Brooklyn residents are Native American or that 1/5 are Hawaiian/Pacific Islanders. Does anyone know what this person meant to say? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.90.152.204 (talk) 17:56, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nonsensical sentence needs correcting

[edit]

In the second paragraph of the introduction: "Between 2005 and 2005, immigration failed to surpass emigration, a trend that was reversed since 2006." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.41.142.141 (talk) 02:20, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
