The population figures given in the table has a lot discrepancies. The population travancore ezhavas in 1836 has given as 180,956(removed this) while that of 1891 is given as 414,217!!how come this is possible. its very difficult cross verify all these details as we don't have a complete consolidated reports is unavailable. Why you are so surprised? During the 1836-1891 period, the total population of Travancore went up from 1,280,668 to 2,557,736. Historically Ezhavas had the highest growth rate for any community, and so their growth is higher than the others (slightly). Axxn (talk) 05:24, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
