Hi Lisa.kok For the CP assignment, I was given the task to peer review your article. First of all, great work, it seems to address the subject with a neutral tone and is well substantiated. Though, i do want to emphasize on the fact that your article seems to take Tocqueville as the only point of departure. Perhaps, therefore, in the future for the introduction, multiple authors could be utilized. Also, it seems to have a prominent focus on socialism/communism/working class. Maybe put the topic in amore cross-sectional historically oriented hemisphere? Providing empirical evidence from multiple perspectives, including not only this (radically) left focus. Nevertheless, I am sure you have more in-depth knowledge on this topic, as I did not extensively did research on democratic revolutions.
