Fair use rationale for Image:DSP Logo.png

[edit]

Image:DSP Logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:53, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Democratic socialism?

[edit]

How is the Democratic Left Party a socialist party?TaxCut1234 (talk) 20:47, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ask the person who added it. Just keep in mind that just because current ideologies arent sourced doesn't make it ok for you to change them to some other unsourced ideologies! Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 21:37, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
In 2023, just look at the fact that they are in an alliance with the Islamist AKP and Huda-Par and the ultranationalist MHP.
The DSP’s Trabzon Provincial Organization slammed the decision, calling it a "betrayal to the legacy" of DSP founder and former Prime Minister Bülent Ecevit as well as "to the country."
The head of the DSP Trabzon office, Hadiye Solmaz, told Gazete Duvar: “We will not abide by this decision as the Trabzon organization. I do not think that any DSP voters will abide by this decision. The headquarters’ stance does not concern me or the provincial organization. I would never support such a decision.”

Left-wing parties making alliances with right-wing authoritarians is not unheard of. See, for example, A Just Russia. However, the democratic socialist descriptor has been removed for a while and likely won't be added back. Ecevit might have been one in his younger days, but he party right now is not.
