Temnospondyl?

The taxobox says colosteids are temnospondyls. Even though some phylogenies have arrived at that conclusion, it's a small minority position. Usually colosteids are not considered members of the tetrapod crown group. The baphetids, crassigyrinids, and whatcheeriids are in the same boat. They are usually placed between the Devonian forms (Acanthostega, Ichthyostega, Tulerpeton) and Crown Tetrapoda. Zyxwv99 (talk) 01:35, 10 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
