Sources?
[edit]I've been searching for some good English sources however I've noticed they are very few and far separated for topics such as foreign bands. However, I've only translated a stub from German; and the German article has no sources either. akuyumeTC 01:58, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
- I've found various webpages listing them with WEA International, a branch of WMG. [1] [http://www.amazon.com/Bitte-Ziehen-Sie-Durch-Deichkind/dp/B00004TDDO/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/103-2562908-4655060?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1181354999&sr=1-1] Not too official but a start...akuyumeTC 02:23, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
sorry for not having an english source about deichkind. but deichkind is very popular in germany! they're resident on one of the largest electronic festival in germany called MELT -> http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Melt%21_festival more info here: http://www.laut.de/wortlaut/artists/d/deichkind/biographie/index.htm (german) http://www.cineastentreff.de/content/view/1482/110/ (german too) http://www.intro.de/platten/kritiken/23035218 (german) more on: http://www.last.fm/music/Deichkind and their well visited myspace site: http://www.myspace.com/deichkind hope this is enough to keep them here!?
Removing unreferenced tag
[edit]I've added two references as of now and will continue to search more, particularly those along the lines of WP:RS. I can predict the arguments for the Myspace reference however in my humble opinion an official MySpace band profile should qualify as a primary source. akuyumeTC 08:02, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Discography
[edit]The translation for "Bitte ziehen Sie durch" sounds like it was made by a bablefish. "ziehen" in this context doesn't mean "pull". It's more like "puff/toke" (a cigarette). So the two words "ziehen" and "durch" mean something like puff hard on a hashpipe. The title then becomes funny because "Sie" ist a polite form of address (like a waiter would address a guest in a restaurant) - in contrast one would say "Du" when talking to a friend. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.78.133.136 (talk) 14:47, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
Sorry, but it's totally not 'dyke'kind. That's a terrible pronunciation. Since US English doesn't have the CH sound, it's more like Deishkind. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.172.240.222 (talk) 08:04, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
"Selber machen lassen" properly translates to "Let someone else do it myself" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.90.191.17 (talk) 11:40, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
