del parts which read like a brochure;

[edit]

The trouble is it bis completely factual; The average Army Barrack block was build in the late 30's and during the 1940's, the Defence Police College occupys a site which has had massive investment and the accomodation (which is more akin to modern university style accomodation) would not be recognised by most servicemen either serving or retired as being Service accomodation. Also the fact that there is no "Bull" because the cleaning is done by contrators will ahve many old sweats scrtaching their heads.

The DPC is a military base for the 21st Century.

Yes, but you see, the way you wrote it sounds like a brochure and isn't very encyclopaedic (e.g. "The style of accommodation would be a culture shock for any serviceman who experienced the 1940’s style barrack block system" - that's a chatty guidebook, not an encyclopaedia).
