Not just an East Coast thing
[edit]Love the comment that people who go to fairs don't typically eat food that's good for them. A classic line.
These are available (along with deep-fried Oreos) on the boardwalk at Santa Cruz, California. Fear ... --FOo 01:14, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Should we add a comment saying "Some people have reported vomiting in their own mouths a little when hearing about a deep fried twinkie." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.40.85.173 (talk • contribs)
A comment like that is certainly appropriate for the deep-fried twinkie, but not the wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.186.120.209 (talk • contribs)
Good for the unclycopedia though. Anyways, I find it hard to believe that a twinkie is 150 KILO calaries. Because isn't a kilocalarie 1,000 normal calaries..? 150,000 calaries in a little bar? Thats more than a month of calaries. I really doubt that that is true. Aeti 02:39, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- One Calorie according to the label = one kilocalorie according to some people. Note the capitalization of the word "calorie". --Ihope127 02:01, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- Exactly, 1 Calorie = 1 kilocalorie = 1000 calories —The preceding unsigned comment was added by KenBest (talk • contribs) 03:17, 25 April 2007 (UTC).
Part one says it was "invented" in Brooklyn; later on it says it "originated" in Arkansas. Clean-up or citing please! --Theleftenant 01:44, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

Opening statement suggestion
[edit]Shouldn't this be called an innovation rather than an invention as put by the opening statement? Bgrddg253 (talk) 20:10, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
- So, is this for real or is it just a joke about how fat americans are? Being fat is not something to be proud of. 66.201.164.179 (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 20:11, 23 September 2008 (UTC).
