Couldn't deca/hectometres be in there?

"millimetre << centimetre << decimetre << metre << decametre << hectometre << kilometre"?

a converstion example, using the shift of the decimal to demonstrate: 100mm = 10cm = 1dm = .1m = 0.01dam = 0.001hm = 0.0001km

Also, dm can be practically applied like so: volume of 1dm3 = 1L

But I have never heard of a decimeter/re is it in common use this measurement?

In Europe it is indeed a relatively commonly used unit since 1dm^3 = 1 litre. A useful conversion. Antarctic-adventurer (talk) 19:54, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
