Dr. Sebi (Alfredo Bowman)

[edit]

...reportedly died on 6 August.[1] I'm bringing it here for discussion for inclusion, to which I lose no sleep either way. He was an herbalist who helped a few celebrities with dependency rehabilitation, namely Michael Jackson (as Alfredo Bowman here) and Lisa Lopes of the musical group TLC. Again, it would simply be name-dropping to add him here, as a Wiki-search only lists him at the linked Bowman mention and a mention in a TV film about TLC. — Wyliepedia 04:46, 8 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm only seeing dubious sources at present. Would prefer to wait until mainstream picks it up. WWGB (talk) 05:18, 8 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Remove the words "American Criminal and" from the listing for Marion Christopher Barry. The full page for this deceased person does not use them.

Note: It seems to me that he is largely notable as a result of his criminal activities. I don't necessarily see a reason to remove the wording, but I will leave this open for other editors to comment. Topher385 (talk) 01:32, 17 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I concur with Wylie Coyote. His article reads like a rap sheet- something most of the population does without. One could argue that you could change drug addict for criminal, but criminal is more accurate seeing as how it encompasses his other hobbies like Assault and Battery to go with his drug addiction (which is a criminal offense in most areas of the world).Sunnydoo (talk) 01:16, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Tell it like it is, as long as it doesn't defame. And it doesn't. 86.113.64.8 (talk) 03:55, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
