Homicide

[edit]

Given that this incident is a homicide, whether intentional or not, the title should be changed to killing from death.VR (Please ping on reply) 18:17, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"An elderly Palestinian American man who was found dead after being detained by Israeli soldiers in the West Bank earlier this month suffered a stress-induced heart attack probably brought on by being bound and gagged and held in a cold construction site, according to the results of an autopsy released Wednesday." “In comments last year, the Israeli military expressed regret over Mr. Assad’s death, fired two of the mission’s commanders, and acknowledged that soldiers should not have left the area after they realized Mr. Assad was unconscious. Almost all available sources refer to it as a death rather than a killing, even sources like Arab News and the Middle East Monitor (Al Jazeera refers to it as a death and killing). Mooonswimmer 13:15, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
