I've removed this sentence (discussing Cicero's dismissal of determinism) because Diogenes of Oenoanda lived many centuries after Epicurus (and surely believed the same thing Epicurus did) so something has got garbled somewhere:

This dismissal can be conjectured to be one made by [[Epicurus]] against [[Diogenes of Oenoanda]].<ref name='Huby'/>
