Fourth or second studio album?

[edit]

Is this Alvarez's fourth album, as the current text purports, or his second? There seems to be some confusion:

  • This article lists this as his fourth studio album
  • J Álvarez discography lists this as his second studio album
  • J Álvarez this is explicitly named as his second studio album
  • This page on totalisimo.com (granted, not necessarily reliable) says it's his third studio album
  • Discogs (user-generated and not suitable for referencing) has it fourth in the list of his "Albums" - note not studio albums - I suspect this is the source of the confusion here, I'm not sure Otro Nivel De Musica Reloaded or Imperio Nazza: J Alvarez Edition should be counted as "studio albums".

I suspect this is actually his second studio album and there has been some confusion about the exact definition of a "studio album", can any subject matter expert clarify with sources? GEbb4 (talk) 22:59, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
