List of Tests

[edit]

How many day night Tests do we need to list before it becomes routine? We don't maintain a list of d/n ODIs / T20Is (to my knowledge) Spike 'em (talk) 09:50, 21 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

With only 20 matches played to the end of 2022, I think the list is worthwhile being maintained on this page. My future preference would be split the table to it's own list article and replace it with an overall team record table, noting first day/night appearance etc. Storm machine (talk) 03:53, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

First class trials of day/night cricket

[edit]

It's currently not mentioned in the article, but the then ACB did trial Sheffield Shield matches as day/night games during the 1990s, mostly using an orange ball (mentioned here). If other references could be found from Wisden and other sources from the mid-late 1990s, it might be a worthwhile addition to the first class section.
