"Pro-life measure" vs. "anti-abortion measure"

I'm in favor of "anti-abortion." A person is "pro-life"; a law is not "pro-life." If you really want to avoid controversy, you could replace the descriptor with an explanation of what the law would do (ie. "led the opposition to a Tory measure that would have instituted a 48-hour waiting period for women seeking abortions" or whatever this law was). The law was a ban on all abortions unless two doctors signed off that it was essential for the health of the mother. I think calling it anti-abortion legislation is fair. - SimonP (talk) 01:42, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
