foundation spelling

[edit]

Just wondering if anyone knew why David's foundation spells it "Wirrpunda" if it's meant to be "Wirrpanda"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Willo kenobi (talkcontribs) 07:33, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The foundation was named before he alerted everyone to the correct spelling of his name. The foundation will be meeting to discuss the issue. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.154.74.114 (talk) 03:50, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Moving 59.100.172.123's comments to the Talk page

[edit]

06:57, 25 October 2006, 59.100.172.123 added this to the article:

Sharon Hayden is the Manager of this foundation David has said that she is wounder ful to work with and hopeing to make schools and more communities feel compfterble being indiganous.

I moved it to the Talk page. As at 6 May 2006, the David Wirrpanda Foundation is spelled just that way, and moreover, Ms Hayden is the foundation's General Manager. --Shirt58 13:09, 6 May 2007 (UTC) ps: best wishes and all power to them, the foundation, and its work.[reply]

Terminology

[edit]

I don't think anyone unfamiliar with the game itself or Aussie Rules' weird circuitous language is going to have the slightest idea what "Wirrpanda was met solidly by Geelong's Gary Ablett" means. Any thoughts on a more universal phrasing? —Preceding unsigned comment added by MuJoCh (talkcontribs) 15:44, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
