[edit]I added some biographical info on Varney, and tidied up some references - notably the reference to consultant fees which seems to be supporting something which has been edited out.
I also removed a bit from this article to try and preserve some balance. I don't think referencing mmO2's big loss in 2003 is particularly illuminating to the reader unless set in context. It hints at incompetence without actually saying it explicitly. Ditto for the phrasing used to explain the Gershon challenges. If anyone wants to go into a bit more depth and provide that context, feel free! Bobenigma 20:24, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
Small correction - the interim chairman (chairperson?) mentioned on the first line was Ann Chant, not Dave Hartnett. Erofeb
