Polls

Does anyone know of a reference for a recent poll of the 5th Congressional District? The article currently says Schweikert is polling ahead, but the only reference to a poll is by the National Republican Congressional Committee. Partisan organizations are not usually to be trusted for poll information (see Push poll). I don't know the methods here, but a better reference would be helpful. I was also concerned about this, which went back and forth a few times. I think describing the poll as coming from a conservative group is rather important. Thoughts? --TeaDrinker (talk) 18:57, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

I deleted it. Polls are found in the election article where they belong and where they have dates and sources. This article is (supposedly) about the person. Pretending to cover the campaign yet ignoring the third candidate on the ballot is absurd. Flatterworld (talk) 02:50, 29 September 2010 (UTC)

Neutrality

Large sections of this article are just copy from his campaign site (and not even the current one!). Needs work. Arbor832466 (talk) 01:38, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

Asshole Factor

The following statement seems inappropriate. It serves no purpose other than being sensational. Westmoreland later amended his statement to be "obstinate factor". Saying this would get the point across without being offensive.

Politico quoted Georgia Congressman Lynn Westmoreland as saying that Amash, Huelskamp and Schweikert were removed not because of their voting record but because of "the asshole factor".CFredkin (talk) 20:06, 3 May 2014 (UTC)
If the original quote was "asshole factor" then I think that is what should be used. However, the who incident doesn't seem relevant enough to include at all, so I think it's a moot point. Arbor8 (talk) 15:26, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
I tend to agree.CFredkin (talk) 16:33, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
