[edit]The removal of a verifiable news article outlining controversy over a public figure running for for political office in order to perpetrate this political puff piece is not only in violation to the Wikipedia policies but a clear indicator of the purpose of this article, a glib political advertisement.
Please desist removing VERIFIABLE cites and commentary which provide insight into the person which this article pretends to represent fairly.
Please point out the problems defined HERE and DISCUSS any changes made BEFORE simply deleting those changes. The issues of Foreign influence in David's campaign are valid given that substantial funding of his political activities were and are received from companies with SUBSTANTIALLY ONLY foreign revenues in which he himself has major direct interests. As a matter of PUBLIC RECORD (http://www.vpap.org/candidates/profile/money_in_donors/155416) BOTH Curves and RAMA have contributed over $50,000 to his campaign.
If you wish to persist in making puff pieces for political candidates remove this one and post yours to http://campaigns.wikia.com/wiki/Campaigns_Wikia WHICH WAS DESIGNED for your specific purpose, otherwise allow the WIKI process to function properly. Your removal of completely legitimate copy is an effort to SPAM the wikiverse with one sided P.R. releases. Otherwise your insistence in removing other postings will be protested to the fullest possible extent.
Zparqi (talk) 20:29, 6 August 2011 (UTC) Once AGAIN Donofrio has deleted all content which discusses ANY controversial issues which might make this person a VALID wikipedia entry, he refuses to discuss changes and just deletes them even when valid links are established .. Mr. Ramadam is highly controversial and valid reasons of information inclusion can certainly be substantiated. I am suspecting that Donofrio is a paid agent of this politician, who desires to remove ANY reference that may lend light to to the subject and they do not wish to become public. Substantial LOCAL AND NATIONAL public interest and coverage is yielding numerous cite resources which they seek to suppress. As Donofrio has made minimal edits but major deletions & has refused to to discuss his edits, I have attempted to revert to my 10 August version (prior to the Donofrio edits) but am unable too because of the 'speedy deletion tag. Given that the piece originality started as an ADVERTISEMENT, it has since evolved and I'd now urge its retention if the community is NOT FORCED to constantly remove unjustified edits BUT in the circumstance that it might be retained AS-IS, It would be fully justifiable to remove it as it only serves to misinform the public in its current edit form. I urge the administrators to allow the process to work and sanction those unwilling to comply with policy after fair warning. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zparqi (talk • contribs) 05:47, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
In order to establish 'good faith' I call upon all editors to this article to to declare your interests in Mr. Ramadan's campaign; be it a paid or unpaid position by him personally or a cited party, in an associated committee, political party or as an unpaid interested volunteer.
This article has been subject to 'edit wars' with NO discussion or challenges made in good faith. If it is to continue being listed in Wikipedia, one of the processes necessary is Discussion, please discuss additions, edits and deletions and avoid unilateral actions, Lets Talk About ItBold text.
I declare myself an uninterested party in any manner beyond personal political and philosophical interests. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zparqi (talk • contribs) 20:10, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
Donofrio, Lets start with an some simple matters, and get the edit process started.
In the spirit of full disclosure, would you like to respond to my disclosure request above?
Would you please state the grounds you wish to invoke as valid wikipedia reasons for the deletion of verifiable additional information edits concerning the biography which you created for Mr Ramadan?
Are you aware that David Ramadan has used the name; Imad Afif Ramadam? and if not would you accept that a dated public records cite would be a valid verifiable one If one was to state that 'Mr. Ramadan has represented himself as Imad Afif Ramadan' ?
If one was to state that 'Jo-Ann Chase is a fellow declared Republican Primary Candidate competing with Mr. Ramadan in seeking the Republican Nomination to the 87th House of Delegates District' and provided a verifiable cite, would you dispute that fact?
If one was to relate reliably verifiable cites concerning specific donations to and endorsements of Mr. Ramadan's campaign from individuals directly connected with publicly controversial matters including those such as criminal incitements and convictions of money laundering and their part in such matters, would this not have direct relevance relating to the character and assertions of Mr. Ramadan as described and implied within this biography?
5 questions only, 1 of which only provides context, 1 of which clarifies your reasons for deletion of valid edits and 3 which that can be verified by 3rd party cites and relate directly to the information which has been posted. I'd appreciate your response and then perhaps we might discuss style and layout in order to establish the neutrality format here. Lets talk Zparqi (talk) 21:49, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
