Kosovo Liberation Army
[edit]I deleted some of the recently added stuff because I tried several times and failed to verify that the provided source says that Hicks joined ranks of African and Middle Eastern men in Albania. Relevant quotes from the source are needed. Ktrimi991 (talk) 12:02, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
- This article is related to David Hicks and not a platform to promote a terrorist organisation in a brighter light. This is something you have consistently done over numerous articles across Wikipedia. If you do not like a section of the text then remove it with proper references. Removing sections of text and replacing it with references to the KLA as a Catholic organisation has nothing to do with the David Hicks page and will be removed. TryDeletingMe (talk) 15:02, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
- User:TryDeletingMe, I'm afraid that post reads a lot like a personal attack. I know nothing of User:Ktrimi991's history. If there had been serious problems with their behaviour, surely action would have been taken. And I have a serious question. How does one remove a section with sources? That just sounds silly. Maybe you have a valid point to make, but you haven't made it there. HiLo48 (talk) 01:49, 18 August 2018 (UTC)
- HiLo48 Thanks for your comment. You are right. I interact with many admins and experienced editors, and I report editors very frequently. So many people are aware of my actions, contributions and behaviour on Wikipedia. However, if TryDeletingMe feels there are reasons to believe I am not a constructive editor, they should file a report at the right place. I am ready to discuss my actions, and I hope TryDeletingMe is ready to discuss their own actions as well. Their history of editing shows that many of their edits are reverted due to being source misrepresentation or WP:OR. I do not want this small content dispute become Balkan Wikidrama. The spirit of Wikipedia is cooperation and good faith, not personal attacks, aspersions and depiction of people as supporters of terrorism. @TryDeletingMe Why does your comment have as timestamp 27 June? You made the comment on 18 August. Ktrimi991 (talk) 06:08, 18 August 2018 (UTC)
- Apologies for the timestamp. Yes I am aware any pages related to the Balkans will rarely be able to suit all sides. However Ktrimi991 your recent edit "However, the KLA did not accept Islamic fundamentalism, and many of its fighters and fund raisers were Catholic" is an issue related to common sense. This has nothing to do with David Hicks as this section merely discusses David Hick's actions in Yugoslavia and Albania. If you take a look at my histories you can see for yourself you have a consistent track record of reverting my posts and causing edit wars. I am honestly flattered you would methodically subscribe to my posts and follow my actions, however it makes it difficult to make edits as you engage in edits that are not constructive. If you have a reference that states that the KLA had no foreign fighters from the Middle East then please add it to the talk page and then that comment can be removed. TryDeletingMe (talk) 13:49, 18 August 2018 (UTC)
- TryDeletingMe - that is a ridiculous request. It is pretty much impossible to prove a negative. HiLo48 (talk) 11:50, 18 August 2018 (UTC)

Not chronological
[edit]Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Biography#Order_of_events suggests biographies be presented in chronological order, from birth to death, except where there is good reason to do otherwise. So I'm writing to find out what the good reason is for this article's sections to be ordered:
- 1 Guantanamo Bay
- 2 Return to Australia
- 3 Early life
- 4 Marriage and family
- 5 Religious and militant activities
