i see someone added a possible not notable tag to this article. i created this and other karate articles with the understanding that having multiple medals won at the top karate championships be it european or world championships should satisfy notability,i have added an addition source also, the wikipedia category karateka would be useless if david felix who won multiple medals at top competition is deemed not notable.if not winning multiple medals at top tournaments is not enough for notability we have to ask ourselves what does it take for a karateka to be added to category of karateka, what will it take to make a karateka notable? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lesueur878 (talk • contribs) 15:29, 8 January 2012 (UTC) i have removed the notability tag because i added another source to back up my claim that david Felix is a multiple medalist at karate's top cempetitions, also my other karate articles Robert Gomis and Olivier Beaudry also seem to show notability consensus at AFD debates. the new source i added is www.karaterec.com, clearly shows that David Felix won multiple medals at top karate competitions of kumite at either european or world championships.[reply]
You're correct, he is notable, but do you think it would be possible to find English references for any new articles you create? People would be less likely to tag it for not being notable if you did so. Gsingh (talk) 21:32, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
