Bell & Braben

[edit]
  • Does anyone know if these two guys (that'd be Bell and Braben) have actually met in the last 20 years? I very faintly remember reading something about the original Elite and the last meeting between the two. That was back in, what, 1985? --Tirolion 12:57, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Can be 15 years at most, as the duo was featured in an early 1991 article in a German video/computer game magazine, when they were working on the NES port of "Elite": http://www.kultpower.de/external_frameset.php3?site=%2Fshowartikel.php3%3Fz%3Dpowerplay%26im%3Dpowerplay_artikel%252F1991-01%252Finterview_braben.jpg%26backurl%3Dpowerplay_artikel.php3%25231991-01 --Kthomsen 21:51, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

POV

[edit]
  • Added POV tag, as the article mentions disputed royalty payments etc. with no quoted source; currently just rumour mongering.

Interview in Destructoid

Here...

Destructoid interview: LostWinds developer Frontier Developments' David Braben

Could be used to flesh out the entry.

What does the Interview with Ian Bell...

...have to do with David Braben in particular, other than to cast a disparaging light on him? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.167.221.131 (talk) 05:34, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removed, also a decade old. prokaryotes (talk) 21:57, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lawsuit section incomplete

[edit]

AFAIK, the lawsuit was settled out of court in Braben's favor, because Gametek released the game prematurely, why isn't this mentioned anywhere?
