Fair use rationale for Image:Davecolclough.jpg

[edit]

— Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.145.51.245 (talk) 13:19, 30 June 2011 (UTC) Image:Davecolclough.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.[reply]

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

lighten up folks

Why are you guys attempting to make out this guy is a saint? Why are you removing facts to give a balanced view - shame on you - shame on Wiki —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.189.154.181 (talk) 14:07, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, to balance it: you can't write bad things without a source either. See WP:BLP and WP:NEUTRALITY. ScarianCall me Pat! 23:47, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Current Success

Colclough is a member of the European Hall of Fame and is still cashing in major tournaments. What reliable sources do you have that show he is no longer a skilled poker player? TNXMan 18:36, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The reported winnings are pure fiction, sort it out Wiki —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.35.132.19 (talk) 06:41, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Things are fine, the reported facts are facts. Any attempts at going against them will be reverted as vandalism. JaeDyWolf ~ Baka-San (talk) 10:13, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of career winnings info

[edit]

To the anonymous User:62.189.154.181 - it is standard to include career tourney winnings in the WP poker player articles. If you have an issue with this then please take the discussion to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Poker. Thank you. Currently retired. SmartGuy (talk) 14:03, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Complaint

Txman - i am appalled you keep "correcting" wrong information. Blondepoker is NOT his website, and he has not the intelligence to be a programmer, he was a tester, yes a tester —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.29.108.53 (talk) 16:48, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Will you please at least make some effort to comply with Wikipedia policies? Stop making assertions of "wrong" information. Your assertions and or opinions don't matter. If he was a tester, then provide a reliable source that says that. If there are reliable sources that say "blah blah", then we will include "blah blah", regardless of what some editor asserts. Whatever your bone to pick here is, you need to follow Wikipedia's style and content guidelines. Stop making edits based on your assertions. If he has zero ownership interest in blondepoker, surely there is some reliable website online that says that. 2005 (talk) 23:54, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK THEN TXMAN YOU VERIFY HE WAS A PROGRAMMER AS OPPOSED TO A TESTER, GIVEN I UNFOTUNATELY KNOW HIM I SHOULD KNOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.31.172.116 (talk) 13:32, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Here are two biographies that state he earnt a BEC/TEC qualification in IT: [1][2] I'd say that they point toward him being a programmer, as opposed to a tester. 'Tis now up to you to prove otherwise! In the meantime, it'd be more accurate to say he was a programmer. JaeDyWolf ~ Baka-San (talk) 17:19, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
