The best candidate for the "correct" name for the language is Daasanach. This is the primary name given in the Ethnologue [1]. It is also the name used on 3 existing Wikipedia pages of African languages. I suggest we merge as suggested, then move this page to Daasanach, with redirects from the existing names and also Dassanech, the spelling used in the recent BBC Tribes episode [2] (probably the most publicity this people group has ever got). --Steven Kelly 21:48, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
