Notability
[edit]This BLP is based mostly on a recent event, and WP:NOTNEWS did cross my mind while writing it, however the subject was notable in mainstream media prior to the recent event, which has become notable in recent weeks. I therefore chose to include it after all. Edaham (talk) 16:08, 22 June 2018 (UTC)

[edit]This page should not be speedily deleted because... The subject has clearly received media attention over a sustained period, has been an influencing factor in the photographic industry and is a significant part of a new wave within that industry. There are citations within the article which support this.
Sustained press coverage has been given in international media outlets including the BBC, Daily Telegraph, Today magazine as well as a countless number of other reliable sources, (which mention the subject explicitly/non-trivially)
Besides this, A7 speedy deletion should not be applied to articles with a good faith claim of significance, nor should PROD apply here as the subject can and has been referenced to multiple sources. AfD might apply at a push, but the article would probably pass. --Edaham (talk) 00:19, 23 June 2018 (UTC)
