Would review this one. Artem.G (talk) 12:19, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Good timing, it's exactly 50 years ago today that the first gig of this classic tour was played. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 16:45, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, became unexpectedly busy, would review the article by Thursday. Artem.G (talk) 11:45, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Once again, sorry for long waiting. I'm back and will review it now. Artem.G (talk) 16:19, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Article reads well, the structure is fine, images are tagged appropriately.

Comments:

  • from the infobox - "No. of shows 128 (135 scheduled)" - maybe this can be added to the lead? And I think a note telling that 7 events were cancelled (or what happened to them?) is needed.
  • I think that the article would benefit by adding a short section about the album and its history. F.e. "By then, Dark Side of the Moon sounded close to the final album, except without any female vocals or saxophone, which would follow the next year.[15]" - so it would be nice I think to have a look at a final album, without much details, just a major milestones.
  • "new Watkins Electric Music PA system" - what's a 'PA system'?
  • "rig designed by Arthur Max." - he needs some introduction, like f.e. "production designr who worked frequently with the band"
  • "there were problems with the backing tape, and the group decided to stop." - can these problems be somehow described?
  • " filmed by Peter Clifton " - can be linked to Peter Clifton?
  • "(Early version of "The Great Gig in the Sky" without female vocals)" and "(Early version of "Any Colour You Like")" - no need for capital "E"
  • "playing stadiums for the first time." - for the first time during this tour, or for the first time at all?
  • tables - everything is good, but maybe such notes as "Rehearsals", "(first "Dark Side of the Moon" live performance interrupted at 'Money' due to technical problems)", "(abandoned due to power failure)" can be moved into a separate column, 'Comments'?

I would look through sources now, and update the review once done. Artem.G (talk) 16:19, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Artem.G: I've addressed all of the issues, except for the table, which I've failed to do in a satisfactory way that doesn't break everything else? Ojorojo, can you assist? Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 12:39, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Since the comments don't really apply to the venues, they probably shouldn't be in that column. But a separate "Comments" column would necessitate reducing the other column widths and for six or so entries out of 100+ shows, it would leave a lot of blank space. I'll add it for you, but maybe efns would be sufficient for so few uses. Let me know. —Ojorojo (talk) 14:33, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe footnotes would be a suitable alternative, as most shows didn't have any specific incidents to speak about. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 16:33, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, efns would work too! Artem.G (talk) 14:06, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, done. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 15:23, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I've checked some sources, everything seems to be fine. I see no copyvio, and article is really nice. So it's GA now! Artem.G (talk) 17:28, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
