Place of Birth
[edit]I have restored the place of birth back to Wigan to match the cited source. If this is incorrect then another source needs to be cited and then a balance is to be achieved as to which is the more reliable. --Regan123 13:43, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
- 'Golborne-born' Danny Tickle was the star of the show for Halifax, leading the way with a 26-point haul. The talented back rower scored three tries and kicked seven goals from eight attempts.

Also ... 'Wigan Warriors Rugby League star Danny Tickle is from Golborne'.
That line is on a number of websites, including Wikipedia's 'Golborne' article.
- Yep we seem to have a contradiction. Can you hang on as I think we need to look at this a bit further. We may need to write to the club or the player to confirm. There are some standard letters somewhere on Wikipedia. I will try and track them down. Cheers, Regan123 00:13, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
