Certainly this warrants some improvements. Williamborg 13:51, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
- Definitely. In my first attempt I only got up to 1700 :) That link I added looks like a good source for 1800-2000. Haukur 16:02, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
Important writers to add
While this article can by no means give exhaustive lists on even the most important Danish writes of past and present, there are some startling omissions that should be added.
- Steen Steensen Blicher
- Ebbe Reich Kløvedal
There are actually more, but these are two gaps that instantly comes t my attention. I was in fact searching for translations on ERK, but I couldn't find any! Is it really true that this immensely productive not to say skillful and influential writer have not been translated? Well anyway his importance is not to be judged by his notability in foreign countries and in foreign languages, am I right? Hope for a constructive discussion. Literature for children
As a curiosity in this world of adults, Denmark has a strong tradition for literature for children of a very high quality. I believe this subject should be mentioned in this article and I have a few suggestions for unique writers to add too:
Ole Lund Kirkegaard, Bjarne Reuter (already mentioned in the article), Benny Andersen, Bent Haller, Knud Holten, Dennis Jürgensen, Gunnar Wille, Cecil Bødker, Josefine Ottesen
Take a glance at this Danish page on writers in this category: da:Kategori:Børnebogsforfattere fra Danmark
